Google’s Region Tag

leave a comment

Google announced on Dec 1 2009 their support for region tags. This will be added to the green address line on the bottom of the search results. The goal of this addition is to help users locate where your site is located. It is not really useful if you are in the EU and don’t do business in the USA to have people from the USA clicking your site.

It is good for your ego I guess, but it doesn’t really help you sell your product or service, or the potential customer who will just click the back button anyway.

Why Are Big Company Logos Important

leave a comment

The world is covered in everything logo and they can be seen in the big corporate companies as well as the small little shops that you visit for a specific product.

To start off with it is actually one of the first things that a person will see and if the logo is decent it will attract customers in rather than turn them away. Many customers will seriously consider a company if the logo is catchy and relative to the business.
