Some of my subscribers have asked me to put up a simple video on how to create a MySQL database. Since most of them don’t have dedicated hosts, I figured I would show how to do this in cPanel.
If you don’t know what cPanel is, or are unfamiliar with it, it is a web-based “cockpit” that most hosting companies use to allow clients to add software and configurations on their own. For example, you can add a WordPress blog, a ticket support system, and add a database among many things.
cPanel can be intimidating the first time you use it, so I put this little video together. Please comment on this and let me know if it helps (and yes, I know it is basic, but not everyone is as expert as you).
If you would like more videos on cpanel, let me know in the comments, no guarantees, but I don’t mind making them.
Please sign up for my email list if you want updates. Don’t worry I don’t like SPAM, OK, I do, but only fried. You will get updates every once in a while when I put something up. I also rarely promote anyone’s products, because to tell you the truth, most of them suck. So you won’t get 5 emails a day about the newest way to get rich on the internet.
